Our Story

From London to the World

Malanta Ltd was founded with a clear conviction: that the most significant value creation in technology happens not at inception, but at the inflection point where proven companies accelerate into global market leaders. Headquartered in London with a team spanning three continents, we are purpose-built for this moment.

Our founding team brings together decades of operational experience at high-growth technology companies, combined with deep institutional investing expertise. We have helped build companies from Series A through IPO across enterprise software, financial technology, climate infrastructure, and digital health.

In February 2025, Malanta raised its Seed Round of $5M to establish the firm's operational foundation and begin deploying capital into its first portfolio cohort. We are actively investing and engaged with exceptional founders across our focus sectors.

Investment Philosophy

Three principles guide every investment decision we make, from initial engagement through portfolio company exit.

Global Perspective, Local Expertise
We evaluate companies through an international lens, identifying businesses with the potential to scale beyond their founding market. Our team's on-the-ground presence in Europe, North America, and key emerging markets allows us to assess true global potential rather than projected growth curves.
Partnership Over Transactionality
We take a small number of concentrated positions where we can genuinely move the needle for founders. This means dedicating substantial time to talent acquisition, go-to-market strategy, international market entry, and follow-on fundraising. We are builders, not spectators.
Stage-Appropriate Conviction
Growth-stage investing requires a distinct analytical framework. We combine rigorous financial modelling with qualitative assessments of team capability, market timing, and competitive positioning. Our decisions are data-informed, never data-determined; judgement is irreplaceable at this stage of company development.
